I'm a designer who lives and works in the lovely Adelaide Hills outside of the city of Adelaide, Australia.

I'm passionate about good design and enjoy working with small businesses, not-for profits and others to create visually appealing, functional and purpose-built websites and more.

How I can help you

  • I've been building and producing for the web for approximately ten years.
  • I have tertiary qualifications in both visual arts and internet design.
  • As the operator of a small business myself I enjoy working with other small businesses to help them to be successful.
  • I have over ten years experience in the not-for-profit sector and enjoy working with organisations which are all about making a difference.
  • My websites are purpose-built to each site owner's needs using a site planning processes.
  • I use web standards-based site building methods meaning your site will work well now and into the future.
  • I have a broad range of skills and knowledge developed over many years.
  • I always endeavour to keep my skills and knowledge expanding and up to date.

Where I work

I operate my business from my home in the Adelaide Hills. Working from home helps me to keep overheads down and increases flexibility in my working life.

If you are not based in or around Adelaide, note that I am happy to undertake work from anywhere and am more than comfortable liaising entirely online if required.

Environment

Every business has an environmental impact - a micro business operated by a designer is no different.

I work to reduce my environmental footprint in a number of ways:

  • My website hosting is powered entirely by wind energy, including the hosting packages I provide to my clients
  • I encourage print clients to use recycled printing materials whenever possible
  • I recycle all recyclable waste generated by my business, such as paper and plastic
  • My lighting is low energy wherever possible
  • I work from home - and therefore walk to work every day!

Anything else?

Yes! I'm also a jewellery designer and maker – just to keep life interesting!
